ABOUT ME
Namaskarum! My name is Krishnan, and I have been deeply passionate about photography for as long as I can remember. It was in 2019 that my love for the art took off, thanks to the generous gift of a Nikon D80 camera from a dear friend, Appu Uncle. His encouragement and stunning photographs inspired me to pursue my passion further, and I began learning about photography earnestly.

In 2021, I decided to take a break from my corporate job at Cisco Systems and pursue my dream of becoming a full-time photographer. Thanks to my team and managers' support, I could take advantage of the company's sabbatical program and dedicate myself to my studies. I graduated with a 14-month Diploma in Creative Photography in 2022. I had the opportunity to exhibit 12 pictures, including a photo story on Theyyam, at the Visual Arts Gallery in New Delhi.

After that, I assisted Mr Raghu Rai, a senior photojournalist and Magnum photographer known as the father of Indian photography. It is an incredible honour to learn from such a renowned figure in the industry. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue honing my skills and passion for storytelling through photography.

In April 2023, I joined TrashCon, a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) startup, in Bangalore as a Corporate Communications Manager, where I get to do long-form storytelling.
